Escape of mentally ill murder suspect terrifies Guangzhou residents

A MAN suspected in a case of intentional killing who was being treated for mental illness went missing yesterday from a hospital in Guangzhou city, the Southern Metropolis Daily reported.

The man being treated at Guangzhou Brain Hospital was reported missing around 10am yesterday. He had not been found as of last night, the report said.

Residents in the area expressed concern for their safety and questioned the hospital’s security.
