Even hotter in Zhejiang

Despite its record breaking 40.8 degrees, Shanghai was not among China’s top 10 hottest cities yesterday.
Fenghua in neighboring Zhejiang Province recorded 43.5 degrees at 2pm. Four other Zhejiang cities — Yuyao, Shaoxing, Xinchang and Anji — topped 41 degrees at 1pm. Other cities in the top 10 were mainly in Sichuan Province.
