Ex-official accused of taking bribes

Kong Hailong, a former vice mayor of Wenzhou City in east China’s Zhejiang Province, has been accused of accepting bribes, local authorities confirmed yesterday.
Hangzhou Intermediate People’s Court will hear Kong’s case, and decide whether he accepted bribes and took advantage of his position to aid others.
Last year 37 provincial and ministerial officials were investigated.
