Ex-vice mayor arrested for graft

THE former vice mayor of Qinzhou, Zhang Hong, has been arrested for suspected corruption, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region procuratorate said yesterday.
The Communist Party of China’s Guangxi discipline inspection commission started the investigation in September. The Party discipline watchdog said it believed Zhang had abused his power in exchange for money.
