A factory fire spread to a residential building in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region yesterday afternoon.
The plastics factory in Urumqi, Xinjiang's capital, caught fire at around 3:30pm and spread to the adjacent six-story residential building.
It was quickly evacuated but firefighters are searching for possible victims. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
