Factory blast kills 65, injures 120 in neighboring city

At least 65 people have been killed and 120 others injured as a blast ripped through a factory in neighboring city this morning, China Central Television reported.
The blast happened at 7:37am today in a metal producing factory in Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province. Some of the injured suffered severe burns, the report said.
Paramedics rushed to the scene to transfer the injured to nearby hospitals for treatment. Five doctors from Shanghai’s Ruijin Hospital left for Kunshan to assist the rescue.
A further investigation is under way.
