Factory blast toll hits 8

Police in Laiyuan County, Hebei Province, have seized a suspect and are hunting others.
The blast occurred about 10:30am at an abandoned factory house of a local steel plant in a small village of Laiyuan because of the allegedly illegal manufacture of explosives.

The Laiyuan county government announced yesterday afternoon that the investigation assisted by police and forensic experts from Hebei's Baoding City had been completed by 9:20pm on Monday.
