Family of 5 found dead in home with door lock glued shut in Heilongjiang

A FAMILY of five, including a 12-year-old, was found dead in their apartment on Tuesday in Giyamusi city, in northeast China’s Heilongjiang Province. No cause or motive has been released by police, but the lock on the apartment’s door had been tampered with.
Neighbors said family members, who recently moved in, hadn’t been seen coming or going for more than 10 days.
The deaths were discovered after a relative who had been unable to reach them by phone visited the rented apartment on the fourth floor of a residential building where they lived at the crossroads of Zhanqian Road and Anmin Lane.
The relative found the lock of the door was filled with glue and called police.
The case remains under investigation.
