Father wins 6-million-yuan lottery using baby's pick of numbers

A couple in Guangzhou won the first prize of a lottery while the numbers were selected by their two-year-old baby, Information Times reported.

The couple, who are in their 30s, were confirmed to have won a total of 6.289 million yuan (US$1.036 million) for the first prize from Guangzhou Welfare Lottery Center.

The man, who is from Guangzhou’s Huadu District, said he started to buy the lottery tickets about two years ago and it cost him 50 to 80 yuan each time.

He is used to selecting the numbers in front of his computer before purchasing them at the store. He decided to let his baby help him choose the numbers when he was holding his baby in his arms this time.

The man bought a lottery ticket for 56 yuan using the numbers his baby clicked on the computer. The numbers selected by his baby unexpectedly won the first prize.
