Father's savage kicks cause young girl's death

A man who kicked his three-year-old daughter for urinating and defecating in the room and refused to treat her injury has been arrested in central China's Henan Province.
Ma Chaoyang, a 37-year-old father in Xinmi City, flew into a rage when he saw the girl made a mess in the room on November 9. He kicked the girl in the head and belly, causing her to fall on a sharp-edged closet, the Zhengzhou Evening News reported today.
Ma sent his daughter to a hospital where she was diagnosed of suffering from severe brain hemorrhage and needed treatment that would cost Ma at least 30,000 yuan. Hearing this, Ma abandoned his daughter. The poor girl died two days later.
Prosecutors said Ma habitually beat and abused his children. The man was arrested on charges of intentional injury, the paper said.
