STATE Councilor Yang Jiechi yesterday appealed for stronger China-US collaboration in combating terrorism and warned against double standards.
“Terrorism is terrorism. Wherever it occurs, in whatever form ... the international community should take a clear stance and work together to fight it,” Yang said.
Both countries are victims of terror, he said, adding that positive results have been seen since the two set up a cooperative mechanism in 2001.
