Film fans to get Hollywood action

CHINA'S importer of foreign movies has released a list of Hollywood films to be screened this year.

Among them: "Clash of the Titans," "Iron Man 2," and "Harry Porter 7."

China Film Group Corporation, the largest state-run film enterprise, said around 12 Hollywood films would be imported, most of them adventure and action films.

The list includes "Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief," "Shrek 4," "Clash of the Titans," "Iron Man 2," "Green Zone," "Prince of Egypt," "The A-Team," "The Sorcerer's Apprentice," "Inception," "The Lost City of Z," and "Harry Porter 7," reported Sina.com.cn, a Website portal, yesterday.

The 3D "Clash of the Titans" will hit theaters on April 8 after the blockbuster "Alice in Wonderland."

The film is a modern version of the 1981 Greek mythology film starring Sam Worthington, who played a leading role in "Avatar."

"Iron Man 2" will come on April 30, a week earlier than its global release, with the hero in his newest armored suit.

The film, starring Robert Downey Jr, who played Holmes in "Sherlock Holmes," will only be screened in 3D.

The fantasy-action movie, "Harry Porter 7," will debut in China three days earlier than in North America.
