Fire alarm on flight
A Juneyao Airlines flight from Shanghai to Beijing made an emergency landing in Jinan, capital of eastern province Shandong, yesterday evening, after a fire alarm went off.
The Airbus 320 left Hongqiao International Airport at 6:52pm. It was due to reach Beijing Capital International Airport at 8:45pm, but diverted to Jinan Yaoqiang Airport at 8:22pm.
An alarm had gone off in the hold and while that quickly canceled, the captain sought to land, said an airline spokesman. No fire was discovered.
