Fire blamed on gas leak injures 6 in Xining

AT LEAST six people were injured in a blaze triggered around noon today by a leaky natural gas pipeline in Xining city in western China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China News Service reported.
The leak took place inside a construction site on Nanchuan Road W., the report said.
By 2:11pm, the fire was reported to have been put out.
The cause of the leakage was not immediately clear.
