A fire in Beijing killed at least 11 people Tuesday night, local police said.
The fire occurred at about 8:30pm at a warehouse in Xiaowuji Village in the capital's Chaoyang District. It was put out by midnight. Firefighters found 15 people trapped in the 500-square-meter area engulfed by the fire, while 11 of them were pronounced dead. Rescue work is continuing.
