A fire broke out in a downtown shopping center in Zhengzhou, capital of central China's Henan Province, Sunday afternoon, local sources said.
The fire started at about 3 p.m. Firefighters have reached the scene to evacuate the crowd.
Casualties were unknown as fire was not yet under control.
