A real estate project in Shenyang, capital of northeast China's Liaoning Province, was engulfed in flames this afternoon, causing deaths and injuries.
The exact number of deaths is not immediately known.
The fire broke out at Wanda Plaza, a new project in Tiexi District developed by Wanda Group, a private company that invests in real estate, hotels and department stores in many Chinese cities.
