AT least six people died and 22 others were injured when a chain of explosions occurred in a fireworks factory in central Henan Province, China News Service reported today.
The explosions lasted three hours and razed several houses in the factory in Laogong Village, Luohe City, the report said.
"I heard loud explosions yesterday afternoon and I was so scared," said a villager surnamed Li, who opened a food stall 3 kilometers away from the factory.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
