AT least five people have died after poisonous gas leaked from a factory near the Urumqi International Airport in the capital of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region last night.
The leak, caused by a worker's mistake in operation, happened around 7:20pm, Urumqi work safety officials said.
The five victims include the factory workers, airport staff and medical workers, Xinhua News Agency said today.
