Food poisoning kills 4, sickens 6 after home meal

FOUR people in southwest Guizhou Province were killed and six were sickened in a food poisoning incident yesterday after having dinner at a family home, Xinhua reported.
The Luodian County local authority investigated the more than 30 people who had dinner at a villager's home in Guoshi Village yesterday afternoon after attending a funeral. Soon after the meal, 10 of the diners developed headaches and felt dizzy. They were sent to the hospital immediately.
The sickened diners were still in hospital for treatment, and two of them were in a serious condition, the report said.
An investigation into the source of the food poisoning is still ongoing.
