Food supply fear

CHINA will face pressure ensuring food supplies meet demand over the next five years, said Chen Xiaohua, the country's vice agricultural minister. Chen said China will consume an extra 4 million tons of grain, 800,000 tons of vegetable oil and 1 million tons of meat annually through 2015. The central government will provide more policy support to the sector.
