Free Wi-Fi on buses
PASSENGERS on over 150,000 buses will enjoy free Wi-Fi service, the service operators said yesterday.
The free Wi-Fi service will first be available in May in more than 10,000 buses in 22 cities including Shanghai and Beijing. By the end of this year, the service will cover 200 million people, according to service provider BusAP and equipment vendor ZTE Corp. The service is free but it requires users to register for the first time.
