CHINESE navy yesterday conducted a rescue mission after a frigate ran aground in the waters of China's Nansha Islands.
The website of the Defense Ministry said the frigate ran aground conducting a routine patrol around the Banyue Shoal about 7pm on Wednesday, with no casualties reported.
