Fujian man kills 6 students in killing spree
A man in his 40s killed six children with a kitchen knife at a primary school in southeast China's Fujian Province at 7:20 am this morning. He also injured six others.
Twelve students at Nanping City Primary School were attacked, according to a Fujian local radio station. Four died at the scene and two more died after they were rushed to the city's No.1 hospital.
The alleged suspect has been arrested. The school was closed off now.
A witness said online that the man was a local doctor in his 40s, wearing a grey jacket and running after students.
The doctor from a community hospital had a history of mental illnesses and was suspected of taking revenge on the society because he was recently fired.
