SCHOOLS in northwest China's Gansu Province have been asked to install Global Position System in school buses, in the latest move by authorities to strengthen school transport safety after an accident that killed 19 children last month.
GPS allows transport safety watchdogs to monitor the location and speed of school buses, said Gansu education officials over the weekend.
