Gang used fake nude pics to blackmail officials
POLICE have detained a gang on suspicion of extorting large sums of money from hundreds of government officials with fake nude photos.
The gang of five who forged nude photos with software was arrested at their home in Loudi City in central China's Hunan Province on Monday, Nanchang Evening News reported.
This July they has a brief sojourn in southeastern China's Jiangxi Province where they illegally downloaded officials' personal information and added their faces onto pornographic photos as a means to extort tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of yuan in blackmail money.
