Gas leak kills 10 miner
A COAL mine gas leak has killed 10 miners in China's southwestern Guizhou Province, local authorities said today.
A group of 14 miners were working underground in an unlicensed coal mine when the accident took place about 9pm on Wednesday in Weining County. Four were
rescued safely from the pit, according to Xinhua news agency.
Rescuers wrapped up their work at noon yesterday, Xinhua said. The cause of the accident is still being investigated.
