Gay man who sexually assaulted, robbed orchard night guard sent to jail

A young man who sexually abused a 53-year-old man and robbed some of his belongings in Jiujiang city, Jiangxi Province, last year has been sentenced to 32 months in prison by a local court.

The man surnamed Peng, 23, sexually abused a guard of an orchard in Haihui Town, Lushan District in July last year, police said.

Peng claimed he was evoked after watching a pornographic video at home, and rode a motorcycle outside.

He saw the victim surnamed Chen who was sleeping in a makeshift shed at the orchard and chatted with him.

At midnight that day, Peng revisited the orchard, and tied Chen up.

"I was very frightened as I supposed he wanted to kill me," Chen recalled.

But Peng started taking Chen's clothes off and kissing all over the victim's body.

"He told me he likes man but his partner has left him, and he had set his eye on me for a long time," Chen said.

Chen was abused for nearly one hour. Some of his belongings were also taken away by Peng.

In August, Peng surrendered himself to the police.

Police said Peng was also found providing venues for drug users at home.

The Lushan District People's Court in Jiujiang made the ruling for Peng's robbery and providing venues for drug users.

He was also fined 2,000 yuan (US$307).
