THE economic relationship between the United States and China "provides tremendous benefits" to both nations, US Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner said yesterday.
"China presents enormous economic opportunities for the US and for the world," Geithner said at Johns Hopkins University in Washington ahead of China's President Hu Jintao's visit to the US next week.
"Even though we compete in many areas, our economic strengths are largely complementary," he said.
