Girl killed by circus tiger

AN 8-year-old girl was attacked and killed on Friday by a circus tiger in southwest China’s Chongqing City. The child was mauled after slipping into the animal’s enclosure at the Leheledu Amusement Park. She was visiting the attraction with her family. The youngster suffered serious injuries in the attack and died later in the hospital. A spokesman for the park said it has reached an initial compensation agreement with the victim’s family and also promised to improve its safety measures to prevent similar incidents.
