THE death toll from tropical storm Goni now stands at six in south China's Hainan Province, with another 16 missing, officials said yesterday.
The body of a fisherman was retrieved yesterday at Yangpu Port. Goni landed in Hainan last Wednesday and left China on Sunday. The storm toppled more than 575 houses, damaged another 2,311 and inundated 68,000 hectares of cropland.
