Green corridors link downtown Guangzhou

GUANGZHOU, capital of southern China's Guandong Province, is planning on building 11 green corridors, totaling 145 kilometers, linking major parts of the city with green walkways.

Guangzhou's planning authority published the walkway plan yesterday, today's Guangzhou Daily reported.

The walkways will reach the old downtown areas, modern industrial sites, financial and business zones and natural scenic resorts, according to the plan.
