Guangzhou to light up for Asian Games filming
GUANGZHOU government has required property management companies to light up buildings for an aerial filming of the city before the start of the Asian Games.
The companies were told to turn on all indoor and outdoor lights of public buildings between 5:25pm to 9pm on November 6 to 12 in parts of Guangzhou, especially around the Asian Games Village and Guangzhou University Town, to allow China Central Television crew to film the city's night view from the air, Guangzhou Daily reported today.
Local homes and offices are also encouraged to turn on lights in those hours to help create a fabulous night view for the shooting.
The authorities also asked property management companies to let workers to install and test lighting devices on their buildings. Those who don't cooperate will be disciplined.
Guangzhou will host the Asian Games from November 12 to 27. CCTV is making a promotional film for the games.
