The Hong Kong government reminded the public yesterday not to bring endangered species into the region without a license.
Under the Protection of Endangered Species of Animals and Plants Ordinance, the import, export, re-export or possession of endangered animals and plants requires a license.
The license must be obtained in advance, a government department said.
