Hainan, Guangdong Brace For Killing Storm
ABOUT 25,000 fishing boats returned to harbor in Hainan Province yesterday before the arrival of tropical storm Conson on Friday or Saturday.
Hainan has issued an alert calling for the ships to return as Conson is approaching China after lashing the Philippines, leaving 26 people dead, 38 missing and 12 injured. Conson is moving toward Hainan and Guangdong provinces at a speed of 20 kilometers per hour, with maximum sustained winds of 90 kph near the center.
