Hangzhou cabbies on strike over fuel cost and congestion
TAXI drivers in Hangzhou, capital of east China's Zhejiang Province, went on strike today over rising fuel prices and serious traffic jams.
At least 70 taxis parked along the Moganshan Road with placards reading "service suspended," the National Business Daily reported today.
The taxi drivers said they were dissatisfied with high petro prices and widespread congestions.
