Hangzhou overpass collapse kills 1 worker, buries others

AT least one worker has died and an unknown number of others are feared to be buried when an overpass which is still under construction collapsed about 2pm today in Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang Province.
Witnesses said a cable that held a 50-meter-long prefab structure of the elevated road suddenly snapped, and the whole section crashed to the ground.
Rescuers are still searching for survivors who might be trapped in the debris. Local media said one was confirmed dead and three others had been rushed to the hospitals.
The overpass is located on Xingfu Road S.
