Hatred for mean sister turns into murder

THE woman who plotted the murder of her sister's family of four said she did so because her sister was a miser and very mean to her, said police in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
Ling Xiaojuan, 36, sought help from her nephew Su Kezhang, 27, and her niece's boyfriend Liu Shengming, 21, to commit the murder on May 2, killing her sister Ling Xiaoyun, brother-in-law Zhou Zixiong, who was the director of Hezhou City Tax Bureau, and their 16-year-old son and 15-year-old daughter.
Police said the three killers broke into the victims' house after midnight when the whole family was asleep and killed them with hammers and fruit knives.
Ling said her sister Ling Xiaoyun was rich but refused to give money to treat their eldest sister who was seriously ill a few years ago. Ling said she began to hate Ling Xiaoyun after their eldest sister died, today's Yanzhao Metropolis Daily said.
Ling also said she worked for her sister but was not paid on time. Her sister promised her a monthly salary of 2,000 yuan but only paid her 1,500 yuan.
She told police that she wanted to inherit part of her sister's properties so she killed the whole family. She also wanted to kill the mother of her brother-in-law but failed, the report added.
The three killers were arrested on May 18.
