Headmaster poisons 2 girls to frame rival

A kindergarten boss in Hebei Province has been nabbed for allegedly poisoning two girls to death because he had conflicts with their preschool over student enrollment, police said.
Initial investigation showed the headmaster surnamed Shi bore a grudge against the Lianghe Central Kindergarten in Pingshan County as both kindergartens were competing for students, said Yu Peng, an official with the Pingshan Public Security Bureau.
Shi mixed tetramine, a rodenticide, into yogurt and told a man surnamed Yang to pack the yogurt and deliver it to the Lianghe Central Kindergarten on the morning of April 24, Yu said.
Local resident Ren Shuting's two granddaughters, aged five and six, ate the yogurt. One died en route to the hospital; the other died yesterday, today's Hebei Youth News reported.
Ren said the two girls ate the yogurt and complained about its bitter taste before falling into a coma with foams coming from their mouths and their bodies kept twitching.
An autopsy was carried out yesterday afternoon. Shi and Yang were both arrested and police investigation is ongoing.
