CHINA'S weather authority is forecasting heavy rain in the country's southern and southwestern regions over the next couple of days.
Meanwhile, temperatures will reach 30 to 33 degrees Celsius in most parts of north China and some parts of regions along the Yangtze, Yellow and Huaihe rivers today, the National Meteorological Center said.
