HEAVY rain is forecast for central and east China today, providing relief to drought-hit areas, the China Meteorological Administration said yesterday.
Rain is expected in parts of Shanxi, Henan, Anhui, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Guizhou, Shaanxi, Sichuan, Yunnan, and Guangdong provinces and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Record downpours are predicted for some areas.
