Hebei wineries raided for bogus wines
POLICE in north China's Hebei Province have detained six suspects after media exposed their wineries in Changli County making fogus wines and selling them across the country.
Police in Changli County said they have frozen the wineries' financial assests of 2.84 million yuan (US$428,300) in 16 bank accounts and seized 5,114 cases of wines with counterfeit labels, the Beijing Morning Post reported today.
