High-ranking Guizhou Province official removed for suspected disciplinary violations

Liao Shaohua, a Standing Committee member of the Party Committee of southwest China's Guizhou Province, has been removed from his post for suspected serious disciplinary violations, according to official sources.

The Organization Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China made the announcement on Thursday, adding that Liao was also removed from his post as Party secretary of Zunyi City in the province.
