Hong Kong police to give fully aid to enforce injunction: official
HONG Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government Police Force will fully assist bailiffs to enforce the injunction in occupying areas, abide by the High Court instructions, Commissioner of Police Tsang Wai-hung said Saturday.
Tsang said the court has already authorized the bailiff to request police assistance when necessary. He reiterated police will deal with anyone obstructing or interfering with any bailiff in enforcing the terms of the injunction orders decisively.
Tsang said the police have been dealing with unlawful occupying assembly during the last seven weeks. He said police won't let the violent and unlawful act continue endlessly.
"Occupying assembly has been destroying the foundation of public order and the rule of law," said Tsang, he urged protestors to leave the occupying areas and respect orders of court.
