A GUNMAN who was holding two hostages in a university in central China this morning was shot dead by police.
The gunman reportedly grabbed two hostages at 9am in an office at Wuhan University, according to Cnhubei.com 鈥 the news Web portal of Hubei Province.
After a seven-hour siege police opened fire at 2:41pm. The gunman was certified dead at the scene while the hostages were released unharmed
