PRESIDENT Hu Jintao and Premier Wen Jiabao yesterday extended their regards to the 115 rescued miners.
The two leaders also paid tributes to the 3,000-odd rescuers who had been racing the clock to save the trapped workers.
Hu and Wen urged the rescue headquarters to "go all out" to save the other 38 trapped people. They also asked local health authorities to give "the most considerate treatment" to the rescued miners.
