IPR compensation

A SUPREME People’s Court official has called for increased compensation for intellectual property rights infringement. Compensation in IPR cases should be decided on the basis of the market value of the infringed intellectual property, said Tao Kaiyuan, SPC vice president. “Compensation should be increased when it comes to repeat offenders,” he said.
