Impatient courier breaks his leg jumping from 2nd floor of building
A courier broke his left leg as he jumped from the second floor of a residential building in order to deliver some packages yesterday in Qingdao, Shandong Province, qingdaonews.com reported.
The 25-year-old delivery man surnamed Zhang got stuck in the building on Pukou Road as he couldn’t open the gate on the first floor when he was about to leave after delivering a package. He was worried about completing his next delivery and didn’t wait for maintenance staff to arrive, the report said.
He climbed onto a cement shelter through the corridor on the second floor, jumped off and broke his left leg when landing. Zhang called his company to have someone else finish his deliveries, according to the report.
