Injuries reported in PLA helicopter crash in Shaanxi

A HELICOPTER of the People's Liberation Army crashed at a farm in Gushi town of Weinan city in northwest China’s Shaanxi Province around 2pm today, as confirmed on the weibo account of the province’s public security fire department.
The PLA Wuzhi-10 helicopter went out of control and plummeted to the ground after a loud sound was heard, apparently coming from its tail, according to a witness.
Public security and fire-fighting authorities rushed to the scene and the injured were sent to the hospital. The number of injured was not immediately clear.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
