Instructors on trial for killing Net-addicted teen

FOUR instructors in a southern China city went on trial yesterday for allegedly beating a 16-year-old boy to death at a camp to treat Internet addiction.

The four instructors at Qihang Salvation Training Camp in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region are charged with killing Deng Senshan last year, said prosecutors quoted by today's Southern Metropolis Daily.
Deng was found dead at about 3am on August 2, just 14 hours after his arrival at the camp unlicensed camp.
An autopsy by the Public Security Bureau of Nanning City showed Deng suffered multiple soft tissue injuries, and succumbed to his injuries which had caused breathing failure, plus a failure in his blood system.
The camp was closed five days' after the boy's death. The court did not pronounce a verdict on Huang Yejian, Guo Zhicai, Wei Gaojian and Li Qunlai.
